Choosing a template and your note style

1 min read · Updated 29 September 2026

Every visit is drafted into a template, and you choose how full the note reads.

Defaults for new visits

Open Settings → Defaults to set what every new visit starts with:

  • Default template, or "Use the template for my specialty".
  • Note style: Concise, Standard or Detailed.

You can change both for each visit before capture starts.

Sections the AI never writes

Some template sections are marked never AI-filled. They are yours to complete, and the draft leaves them empty. Others are marked stated content only: only what was explicitly said in the consultation appears there.

Your own templates

Open Settings → Templates to build a template: name it, add sections, and save it as Personal. Organisation admins can also save a template for the whole practice.

Note style & memory

In Settings → Note style & memory you can let Chronix Scribe learn how you like your notes written. It is off until you turn it on, it stores style descriptors only, never note content, and applies only to you. Pause learning and Reset memory are always there.
