Inserting a signed note into your EHR with the extension

The extension puts a signed note into whatever field you have focused in a web EHR, with no integration between the two systems.

Steps

1. Sign the note in Chronix Scribe.
2. In the EHR tab, click into the note field.
3. Open the extension, choose Insert a signed note, and pick the note.
4. Choose the format (sections, letter or plain text) and whether to add the codes you confirmed.
5. Confirm the step You are inserting into <site>.

The note is typed into the field, exactly like pasting by hand. Copy is always there if you would rather paste it yourself.

What the extension does not do

• It shows only your own signed notes. Drafts are never inserted.
• It reads only the field you chose. Saving stays your action in the EHR.
• It keeps no patient data.
