Terms of Use
Draft terms for the Chronix Health foundation build.
Draft for review
This page is a draft information notice for review. It is not a final legal policy. Before any real pilot or live deployment, Chronix should obtain legal review and replace this notice with the reviewed version.
Intended use
The Chronix Health foundation build supports community-health teams with:
- care coordination support
- organisation record-keeping
- patient and approved-carer visibility surfaces with consent and permission controls
- operational reporting placeholders
- staff-internal coordination messaging (not patient-facing, not carer-facing)
Not intended for
- emergency monitoring
- diagnosis
- autonomous clinical decisions
- replacing clinicians or care teams
- safeguarding escalation
- real payment processing (billing is placeholder-only)
- real document file delivery (document files are not stored in this build)
- real outbound notifications (no SMS, email, push, or calls)
For urgent medical help, please use local emergency services (in the UK: your GP, NHS 111, or 999).
User responsibilities
Users of the platform agree to:
- use accurate information when recording records
- keep account credentials secure and confidential
- avoid submitting passwords, payment card details, CVV/CVC codes, or emergency medical information through support forms
- respect the role-based access model and not attempt to access data outside the categories permitted to them
- use local emergency services for urgent help, not the Chronix support surface
Clinical boundary
Care plans, assessments, templates, reporting, and other operational surfaces are aids for staff coordination. Staff review is required for any clinical decision. Templates and reporting are operational aids — they are not clinical guidance and are not validated for clinical use.
Placeholder services in this build
The following surfaces are placeholder-only in the foundation build and are not wired to real external services:
- billing and checkout (no payment provider integration; no card number / CVV stored)
- document downloads and uploads (no Storage bucket)
- support requests (no email, SMS, push, or external helpdesk integration)
- reminder delivery (no real notification dispatch)
- AI document intake and reporting summaries (staff-curated text only — no external AI calls)
- exports across reporting, commissioner outputs, and billing (no real file generation)
- patient / carer messaging (the staff messenger is not exposed to those portals)
No compliance overclaim
Chronix does not claim NHS approval, ISO 27001, SOC 2, UK GDPR certification, HIPAA compliance, NHS DSPT completion, CQC registration, DTAC compliance, or any other formal certification. The platform is designed to support organisational policy review; it does not guarantee policy outcomes.
Legal review required before pilot or live use
These terms are a draft for internal review. Before any pilot or live deployment, Chronix should obtain legal review and replace this page with the reviewed terms.
